HACKER is a two-player, head-to-head computer cracking simulation played with cards and dice. Players compete for points, measured with CODE Cards, Data Cubes, and dice in their Dice Pool. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
Player roles in HACKER shift back and forth between the ADMIN and GUEST: two identities that have been compromised in these hackers’ attempts to steal data. Each role is slightly different, affording players different choices, abilities, and dangers as the game progresses. Artfully shifting between the roles is a key concept in staying successful in HACKER.
HACKER also includes a solo-player variant, where players compete to have the highest score and/or completely plunder the Data Sector!
